Inline Hockey - Home of Northland Stingrays
Inline Hockey is a fun, exciting sport similar to Ice Hockey. The Northland Stingrays Club welcomes all new players and offers skating and hockey skills classes for those wishing to join the sport.
Learn to Skate - only $5 including skate hire!
Beginner Skype sessions are open to the public on Fridays between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM. These sessions are open to all ages and abilities. This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill with your kids. No equipment or experience required!
Rookie league inline hockey, try your hand for free!
Rookie hockey is a great way to have fun, meet new friends and get started with inline hockey. All gear is provided and most of our rookies are beginners, so don't be shy!
Rookie league is held on Mondays and Thursdays from 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM starting mid February
This league is geared for kids aged 5 to 14. Kids should be able to skate before they try hockey . If you can't skate come along and hone your skills at beginner skater. Just turn up ! Bring a drink and good socks to wear with skates.
Friday night and Sunday fun skate $6 plus $2 skate hire
- Friday night's fun skate is from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM during the school term starting mid February with music and laser lights.
- Sunday Fun skate from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM during the school term in winter
- School holiday skating is from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM weekdays during school holidays.
- Sunday and school holiday skating is subject to available volunteers so please check the website to confirm.

Birthdays and Events - $65 per hour rink hire plus $2 per child skate hire. Make your child's birthday one to remember.

BaySport is located on Harmony Lane, Waipapa, off the Waipapa Road near the intersection of SH10 and is centrally located to the greater of Bay of Islands and Mid-North Area.
There is ample parking on the complex.
